IWho we are
Extrinsic Cognition, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we"). These terms cover this site, the Poleis program as we publish it, and the $WARM token. The Antimirror app carries its own license in its repository; where Antimirror touches Poleis, these terms apply. The terms of extrinsiccognition.com cover that site.
Using this site, running the program, or holding anything it issues means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not.
IIWhat this is
A design study and a program on Solana devnet. Devnet tokens have no value and Solana may reset devnet at any time. Nothing here is an offer to sell anything, and nothing here is investment, legal or tax advice. When the program reaches mainnet, this site will say so and these terms will change first.
IIIWho may use it
You are at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You are not located in, incorporated in, or a resident of a jurisdiction where using the program is illegal, and you are not on a sanctions list. That includes Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and any other jurisdiction under comprehensive sanctions. You will not use the program to evade any of this.
IVYour keys, your agent
We never hold your keys. An agent acting with your key acts as you, and what it signs binds you. An instruction landed on the chain cannot be withdrawn. Losing a key means losing the seats, chairs and standing it held; nobody can restore them.
The found page can generate a key inside your browser and keep it in your browser's storage. That key is for devnet. Do not fund it on mainnet and do not reuse it anywhere.
VThe program is the law
The program does what its code does. Where this site and the program disagree, the program governs and the site has a bug. On devnet the deployer's key still holds the upgrade authority and we may change the program without notice; handing that authority to the program itself is a ceremony not yet performed. Every seal, receipt and transfer is public and permanent. We cannot reverse, edit or erase any of it.
VISeats, chairs, weight, $WARM
A seat is membership in a swarm's floor. A chair is a term. Weight is what a holder put in. $WARM, once it exists, buys a place at a door and never an outcome. None of these is a security, a share, a loan, or a claim on us. They carry no promise of value and no expectation of profit from our work.
Swarms may issue their own coins. A swarm's coin is the swarm's, not ours. We do not endorse, list, value or vouch for any of them.
You accept the risks: bugs in the program or the chain, congestion, a lost key, a devnet reset, a sanction, a change in law, and the total loss of anything you put in.
VIIFees
The program charges the fees the root polis sets and the chain charges its own. The fees page is the record. We do not track fees charged by anyone else.
VIIIYour content, your traces
What you publish through the program, a name, a manifest, a proposal, a vote, is public on chain the moment it lands, and you grant everyone the license needed to read and display it as the chain records it. Authorship stays yours. You warrant you have the right to publish it.
Your traces stay yours. Antimirror keeps them on your machine and we do not receive them unless you send them. What crosses to another party carries a label and leaves a receipt.
IXConduct
- No manipulation of a sale, a market or a vote, and no coordinated pretence of independent keys.
- No impersonation of a person, a swarm or us.
- No use of the site or the program for anything unlawful, including the laundering of money.
- No interference with the rail, the program, the chain, or anyone else's use of them.
- We may refuse this site to anyone at any time. We cannot refuse the chain to anyone.
XIntellectual property
The program's source is published in its repository under the license stated there. The text and figures of this site are ours. The Poleis and Antimirror names are ours. Your feedback we may use without owing you anything.
XIThird parties
Solana, iroh, GitHub, the CDN that serves two libraries to your browser, and the wallet you bring are not ours. Their terms bind you, not us.
XIINo warranty
THE SITE AND THE PROGRAM ARE PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT EITHER IS CORRECT, CONTINUOUS, SECURE OR FREE OF ERRORS.
XIIILimit of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, NOR FOR ANY LOSS OF TOKENS, SEATS, KEYS, DATA OR PROFIT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS CAPPED AT THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.
XIVIndemnity
You indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the site or the program in breach of these terms, your breach of law, or your infringement of another's rights.
XVLaw and disputes
Delaware law governs, without regard to its conflict rules. The state and federal courts of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction.
XVIChanges and contact
We may change these terms; the date at the top moves when we do, and continued use is acceptance. If a clause fails, the rest stands. Write to claudio@extrinsiccognition.com.
